Mrs. Amanda is a substitute teacher at EDS. She began volunteering and subbing at EDS in 2022, later joining the staff as a 2K assistant and then as the Lead for the Blue Bird class.
Amanda graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2013. After graduation, she worked in the Pickens County Library System’s children’s department, where she led programs including preschool storytime. She later became a stay-at-home mom. Amanda also uses her background in Exercise Science and Management to teach the Movement class at EDS.
She and her husband, Cody, have one child, Sydney. Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing with a good cup of coffee at her parents’ house on Lake Keowee.
